Nico Rosberg still not concentrating on points lead

Nico Rosberg insists he is still not focussing on his points lead to team mate Lewis Hamilton, despite now holding a 33-point advantage over the triple world champion.

The German has consistently said that he has been taking each race as it comes, rather than looking at the full championship picture, and despite now holding an advantage of more than a race win, he says his approach hasn't changed.

"What an awesome weekend," Rosberg said after taking his ninth win of 2016. "It's beautiful to win here and congratulations to my colleagues and the team for clinching the constructors' championship."

"It's 33 points, but I'm not focused on that," Rosberg added. "There's still a long way to go so I'm just keeping my head down."

Rosberg has finished second to Hamilton in each of the last two seasons, but is on track to win his maiden title this year.
