Former Formula One driver Franck Montagny thinks that Nico Rosberg's failure to win the German Grand Prix last weekend may be a big psychological blow.
The German dominated the weekend, topping every session prior to the race. However, a poor start saw him slip back and ultimately fail to challenge for the win.
"For me, Nico Rosberg has lost the championship," Montagny told Le Point newspaper. "I don't know if he will really enjoy the break now. I suspect he will be constantly looking for solutions, calling his engineers, and ultimately not resting."
"In any case, I am quite sure that Hamilton will take full advantage of the break," he added.
Newspapers across Europe are also betting on Hamilton to take a fourth title this year.
"He has become a winning machine," said Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Spain's Marca added that the month of July was a "slap in the face" for Rosberg with Hamilton winning four consecutive races, while Germany's Bild wondered: "Tick-tack - title gone?"
Team boss Toto Wolff didn't disagree, saying, "on a good day", Hamilton is "unbeatable".
While Hamilton said that he never feels unbeatbale, he didn't exactly disagree with Wolff.
"I didn't know he (Wolff) would say that. I never feel invincible or unbeatable, but I do feel when I'm at my strongest, number one is where I will be."
