Nico Rosberg has refused to admit defeat in the title race, despite loosing ground to Lewis Hamilton at the German Grand Prix.
Rosberg led the championship for the first 10 rounds of the season, eventually dropping to second at the Hungarian Grand Prix. After a poor start in Germany, Rosberg eventually finished fourth.
After previously holding a 43-point advantage over Hamilton, Rosberg now sits 19-points adrift of the Brit, but he still believes he can win the championship.
"No, I have enough evidence to show myself that I’m strongest after difficult moments, time and time again, so no issues there," Rosberg said according to the Press Association. "Lewis doesn’t just seem strong in the recent Grands Prix, Lewis is strong, so there is a big difference. It’s always going to be a battle against him."
"I’m disappointed because I had an awesome qualifying and I was really optimistic I could bring it home, so I am just very disappointed that everything went wrong."
