Lewis Hamilton has said that he is not "too disappointed" to miss out on pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Brit topped the times in the early part of the final segment of qualifying but a spin for Fernando Alonso meant that he was unable to improve on his best time.
"I don’t know how much Nico was up but I had the fastest first sector, I was four-tenths up," Hamilton said. "I felt good on that lap. A bit unfortunate with Fernando, but these things happen so I’m not really too disappointed."
"It was a tricky session. I did the best I could do," he added. "We still have a long race ahead of us tomorrow so I’ll give it everything I’ve got from there."
Tomorrow's race will mark just the second time in five years that Hamilton has not started the race in Budapest from pole position.
