Marcus Ericsson suffers second big crash in as many weeks

Marcus Ericsson has brought out the second red flag in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix after he suffered a hefty crash at turn 10.

The Swede lost control, sliding off track, getting his car wedged under an advertising hoarding.

"No it's over, it's over," said Ericsson when he was asked if he would be able to continue.

It was his second big crash in as many Saturdays after his big accident at the exit of Stowe at Silverstone during third free practice two weeks ago.

The first red flag of the session was due to inclement weather.
