Reigning champion Lewis Hamilton heads to Hungary chasing his fifth victory in six races, but also to his fifth at the Hungaroring.
Lewis Hamilton currently shares the record for most wins at the circuit with Michael Schumacher, who also has four wins at the Budapest track, but victory this weekend will make the British Driver the sole record holder.
Hamilton won the British Grand Prix last time out, his fourth triumph at his home event, and he is looking to carry that momentum on to Hungary
"It's a wonderful feeling to win your home race," he said, "and I hope to bring good feelings to the Hungaroring."
After colliding with team mate Nico Rosberg at the Spanish Grand Prix, a rejuvenated Hamilton has only failed to win once, finishing fifth in Baku, to close the gap to Rosberg in the championship standings to just one point.
"I feel fresh, powerful and confident for Hungary. The track has always been my style fit and I've got incredible support, so I can not wait to get back on the track," he said. "In recent years, I've not had my best weekends here, but I know I have the speed. I look forward to the good fortune to return to my side."
