Three times world champion Lewis Hamilton has said he was so excited driving in free practice around Silverstone that he found himself yelling in his helmet.
"It was incredibly gusty out there, which is one of the awesome challenges of this circuit," Hamilton said. "Coming through Maggotts and Becketts then down through Stowe, I was actually yelling in my helmet, it was that exciting. Today we just had a bit of a heard wind and it just felt epic through there - one of the most fun rollercoaster rides you can imagine."
Hamilton topped both Friday sessions, and is looking for his fourth British Grand Prix victory alongside closing the gap to team-mate and championship leader Nico Rosberg.
