Verstappen delighted with podium finish

Max Verstappen was left beaming after the Austrian Grand Prix, as he took to the podium for the second time this year.

Driving at his team's home race, Verstappen led a number of laps before being passed by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton near the end of the race.

It looked as though he would finish third until a late collision between the two frontrunners secured second position.

"It’s an amazing day you know. To finish second with a Red Bull car at the Red Bull Ring is incredible. I enjoyed it a lot," he said. "It was an exciting race and yeah, thank you to the guys, they gave me a great car to finish second."

Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix in May, taking his first win and podium finish.
