British Media Autosport reports that next year we will see a major shake-up in the Tyre Specification, which will give the teams greater liberty and open up different kinds of strategy
For next year there will be five compounds - Super Super Soft, Super Soft, Soft, Medium and Hards. And Pirelli will choose three tyres for each race, with one of those being mandatory and then each team decides for themselves what their second tyre will be from the remaining two available.

"[We're going to have a] couple of days of testing after Abu Dhabi to develop a super-super-soft tyre, which will make a lot more sense when regulations come out for 2016," said Pirelli motorsport chief Paul Hembery.
The FIA World Motor Sport Council will meet in Paris on September 30th and it is expected to be passed through without any issues.

How does a super-super soft tyre make sense? Is it so whomever decide to try them will find themselves with four blown tyres as soon as they enter corner 1? ;)

I suppose the initial goal was to have more pitstops, but if you have a choice to use a harder tyre then what is the point?

I honestly think these tyres has not managed in to contribute to the show, it just hinders great drivers from pushing, even if I like how it rewards drivers who are good at managing tyres and teams who are good at pit strategies.
