McLaren has arrived in Montreal with updated mirrors, running a concept previously used by Mercedes.
In Barcelona, the Silver Arrows arrived with mirrors that had a mounting on top, which acted as part of the aerodynamic changes that were brought to the
weekend.
Where the support was initially attached at the bottom to the mirror, in Spain it ran with a curve all the way up the side and top.
After trialling the mirrors during free practice in Spain, Mercedes opted not to use the mirrors with the wings prior to qualifying.
McLaren has now turned up with a similar concept for this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, part of the upgrade package it hopes will allow it to stay out in front of the midfield pack.
The Woking squad currently has a 13 point gap in fourth place over Racing Point behind. Carlos Sainz has scored points at the last three races, crossing the line in sixth place in Monaco, matching the team's best result of the year.

I thought ferrari had to ditch a mounting solution because it was deemed aero and not structural.
