Interlagos hosts the penultimate round of the 2018 Formula 1 world championship this weekend, and the FIA has confirmed that alterations regarding the Drag Reduction System (DRS) zones have been made to the circuit ahead of the event.

Like some of the other races this year, the main DRS straight has been extended. The zone previously started just before the right-hand kink of Turn 15. However that has now been extended backwards, and now begins 160 metres before the Arquibancadas corner.

The activation point for the DRS Zone remains 30 metres after Turn 13. The other DRS zone on the circuit is located between Turns 3 and 4, along the Reta Oposta straight.  No changes have been made to the circuit layout since the event twelve months ago.
