Pirelli announces tyre compounds for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Pirelli has announced which tyre compounds it will bring to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this year, which will host the final race of the season. The Italian marque has opted to bring the super soft, ultra soft and hyper soft compounds to the race.

Pirelli has now made all its choices for the remainder of the season, with the soft tyre emerging as the most chosen compound throughout the year. The yellow-walled tyre has been picked 17 times, while the blue-walled hard tyre was used just once.

The super-hard has and will not make an appearance this year, despite being introduced as a brand new compound for 2018. Below, you can see a list of tyres used so far, and the ones that will be brought to the second half of the season.
