There have been a number of changes made to the Monza circuit for the event this weekend, with the barriers gaining strength to keep up-to-date with the faster cars this year. Monza is not the only track to have made changes, with many other venues doing the same this season. First, the start/finish straight has been resurfaced.
Brand new TecPro walls have been added at the Roggia Chicane, and also at the entry and exit of the Ascari chicane. Conveyor belts, tyre walls and tube inserts have also been added to the tyre barriers at the Lesmo corners and the Ascari chicane, while tyre barriers at the Ascari chicane have been changed through an addition of a layer of TecPro barriers.
