The design brief says Hamilton was "on the look out for a dope new layout that evolves my current theme and features the candy apple red in my existing design". Competitors were asked to submit their entry thorugh Instagram, with plenty of hopeful candidates now waiting for the result.

Hamilton took initial inspiration from hero Ayrton Senna, with yellow and green featuring on his helmet. However since his change to Mercedes, it has gone from flashes of gold, yellow and red.

it´s a shame he is allowed to use Sennas colors or parts of his design in this context.
they are two F1 drivers but there is (and will ever be) just one legend. End of story.
