The Sepang International Circuit as resolved the problems with the track that occurred during a MotoGP test earlier this year.
Grand Prix motorcycles took to the Malaysian track after it was resurfaced, and problems when drying saw water seep back through the newly-laid surface.
FIA technical delegate Charlie Whiting has since visited the track and the governing body is confident next weekend's Grand Prix will go off without a hitch.
"There seems to be little or no problem," an FIA spokesperson told Autosport. "From what we gather, it takes a little longer to dry out."
"Extra drainage slots have been cut so I don't think we're going to be in trouble," they added. "The Malaysians have taken every reasonable precaution."
