Any Formula One team will now have the opportunity to buy into the sport, under a new structure proposed by the new owners Liberty Media.
It is early days, but for any team to make an investment, will first have to be ratified by the FIA. A similar idea was on the table when CVC originally purchased the sport back in 2005, but there was not any interest from the teams.

Liberty Media have confirmed in a statement that there a few teams who are considering in making an investment..
"The teams will be given the opportunity to participate in the investment in Formula 1, and the detailed terms of that investment will be agreed in due course.
Certain teams have already expressed an interest in investing after completion of the acquisition."
At this moment in time, no team has a stake in Formula One.
