Former Formula One driver Anthony Davidson, now an analyst with SkySports, thinks the differences in level between the drivers next season well be reduced.
According to the Briton the radically different cars could see top drivers struggle, and those who are perhaps not as competitive move to the fore.
He also described the cars as "big Formula Three cars", hinting that drivers graduating from the junior series will have a more comfortable jump into F1.
