Temperatures in excess of 30 degrees are expected for the inaugural race in Baku this weekend according to UBIMET, the meteorological service provider to the FIA.
30 degree temperatures and cloud cover are expected for Friday, with clear skies and highs of 32 to 34 degrees expected on Saturday and Sunday.
After two Grands Prix in succession threatened by rain, Azerbaijan's first Formula One race is expected to remain a dry affair, although true to it's title the 'City of Winds', windy conditions are expected in Baku throughout the weekend.
