Announcement: Dieter Rencken

GPToday.net is delighted to announce that accomplished motorsport journalist Dieter Rencken has joined GPToday.net's Dutch editorial team for the 2019 Formula 1 season.

Dieter has worked as a full-time F1 paddock journalist for over 20 years, reporting on over 300 Grands Prix. He also has experience in an abundance of other FIA categories including Formula E, the World Rally Championship and the World Endurance Championship.

Throughout the upcoming Formula 1 season, Dieter will represent GPToday.net's Dutch website in the F1 paddock and arrange a number of exclusive interviews with F1 related personnel. He will also provide a full-length weekly column for the Dutch website based on relevant topics and issue an analysis of breaking news.

Scoops will be provided as and when they break on our Dutch website. In 2018, Dieter's projects broke more news than other networks. As well as this, GPToday.net will launch its very own podcast this year with Dieter as our publication enters a new era.

Dieter says: "When Danny Sosef invited me to join GPToday.net as special contributor it was an easy decision: I have long admired the passion he and his team have for Formula 1, and the manner in which they express that on the sport’s premier Dutch news site.

“As a South-African Belgian I have obviously been able to observe the growing enthusiasm - call it Max Mania - for Formula 1 in the Netherlands at close quarters, and am exceptionally proud to form part of a team that will bring you, our fellow F1 fan, the latest breaking news and my own views from deep within the paddock.”

GPToday.net's founder and owner Danny Sosef adds: "Dieter and I have known each other for years and we can still remember our first conversation. The click was immediate. With Dieter, we add one of the best international journalists to our team who has earned respect in the paddock and therefore has a large network at his disposal.

"Our team will work hard on the expansion of the new site in the coming period, to give the community even more value for money, and I expect to be able to add more new names to the editorial team and to announce collaborations in the near future. "
