Pirelli have announced that they will host one day of guaranteed wet testing at the upcoming pre-season test at Barcelona.
With fatter, wider tyres being introduced for 2017, Pirelli are looking to make sure that they receive as much data as possible. The wet tyres have come under criticism recently.
Ironically, the Italian manufacturer were pushing for the pre season to be held in Bahrain as they feared the unpredictable weather would hamper sufficient testing.
The track will be artificially be made wet to provide data for Pirelli.
