The Fantasy Spring CyClassics - at least 5,000 Euros of prizes

For a lot of cycling enthusiasts, the spring is the nicest period of the cycling season. Classic races such as the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, keep many cycling fan glued to the screen the entire afternoon. According to tradition, the classics season starts with the Flemish opening weekend, featuring the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne on 01 and 02 March. These two semi-classics also constitute the start of the ___Escaped_link_6932cd76ab7ee___.

Just like in 2012, each participant needs to create a team of fifteen cyclists that fit within a predetermined budget, which for this edition of the Fantasy Spring Cyclassics will amount to 105 million Euros. A value has been placed on all cyclists. Philippe Gilbert costs 16.7 million, Fabian Cancellara 32.1, Tom Boonen 25.3 million and Peter Sagan 35 million. The cyclists can score points by ending up in the top 25 of a classic race or in the top 15 of a semi-classic race. In total, fourteen races have been scheduled. In addition to the five classics (in which the winners have to be predicted in order to obtain bonus points), the races include the Strade Bianchi, Across Flanders (“Dwars door Vlaanderen”) and the Flèche Wallonne.

Taking part in the game costs 7 Euros per team, the majority of this amount being intended for the prize pool. On Zweeler.com, knowledge of sports is worth money. As a matter of fact, the Fantasy Spring CyClassics prize pool will be filled with at least 5,000 Euros. The winner of the game can count on 500 Euros, whereas the participant in the tenth place of the classification still gets 110 Euros. In total, there are 46 prizes for the general classification. In addition, money prizes are paid out per race to the best teams (35, 20, 15 and 5 Euros). The top 5 of the sub league classification receive a certain amount to distribute (100, 50, 25, 15, 10 and 5 Euros). This makes it attractive to unite your cycling knowledge in a sub league together with friends, family and colleagues. As more teams have been paid, the prizes will increase accordingly.
