This weekend's Indian grand prix is going ahead. Earlier, a public campaigner appealed to the supreme court for an injunction against proceedings at the Buddh circuit, on the basis race organisers have not paid enough tax.
But AFP news agency cited legal sources in saying the judge delayed the hearing on Friday. "The hearing will now take place next week," one of the lawyers is quoted as saying. "This means the race can go ahead." (GMM)
