Formula 1 veteran Jenson Button believes that Formula 1 should not linger on the controversial incident between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. Vettel was found to be guilty of dangerous driving after clashing with Hamilton, causing the stewards to hand him a 10 second stop/go penalty.

Button admitted that what Vettel did was silly but now believes that the incident should be left alone and the paddock should move on. The FIA announced this week that they are launching a full investigation into the incident.

Vettel could yet be disqualified from the classifications of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, as he crossed the in fourth place, two-tenths of a second ahead of rival Hamilton. It could also come to Vettel being banned for the Austrian Grand Prix which occurs in just over a weeks time.
