Kvyat holds his own in argument with Vettel

Daniil Kvyat held his own wheel-to-wheel and then later in a face-to-face argument with Sebastian Vettel at the Chinese grand prix on Sunday. As Kvyat brushed off a difficult start to his season by finishing third in Shanghai, Ferrari's furious Vettel started a verbal row with the young Russian as they waited to walk onto the podium.
"You!" the German thundered. "You came like a torpedo," said Vettel, referring to Kvyat's passing move that prompted the Ferrari to jink left into the sister red car driven by Kimi Raikkonen. "That was racing," Kvyat, scoring Red Bull's first podium of 2016, hit back, laughing.
Told by Vettel that if he had "kept going" and not taken avoiding action he would have crashed, Kvyat replied: "Don't keep going. I can't see all three cars, man, come on. I only have two eyes," the 21-year-old added. Told again that he almost crashed, Kvyat replied to Vettel: "Well, I didn't. I'm on the podium so it's ok. You're on the podium. Fine."
The stewards did not investigate the incident. (GMM)

Vettel is right, if they kept going they all would have retired. This clown Kvyat thinks he is senna wannbe, when senna said you see a gap you go for it he was being smart about what types of gaps. Gaps that are turning into a wedge with 3 cars abreast is just stupid. There was no gap and he couldn't have that line by any stretch of the imagination. What kvyat is saying is here is that as long as he gets his podium it doesn't matter if he has to crash people out, run them over, or take out a few cars out of the race in the process.
A classic jerk. Guess when you aren't naturally skilled you do need to resort that sort of stuff to gain places and podiums

I think most people will disagree with you.
Vettel left a gap which Kvyat used. He had much more traction and speed and he was well able to keep his line. Vettel made the mistake to leave the room to overtake inside, that's why he got into trouble. The accident was a typical start incident and Vettel was the victim because he got cuaght between Kvyat and Kimi.
Kvyat is not to blame in my opinion and the stewarts of the meeting seem the same opinion.

Nope he only kept the line because Vettel chose to trust Kimi to move further left and avoid too much damage but a contact was inevitable, If vettel stayed the course atleast Vettel and Kvyat are out of the race (possibly others depending on who hits them from behind).
There was no gap.

Although i am a Vettel fan i have to say that this definetely wasn´t kvyats fault.
Raikkonen pushed to the inside, Vettel saw that wanted to go to the right side where all of a sudden kvyat flew in. Seb saw kvyat, was surprised and then the crash with raikkonen happened.
The only way for vettel to avoid the crash would´ve been to brake suddenly, but the situation came too quick.
The other aspect is the presence of Marchionne.. This maybe makes the reaction of Vettel more plausible.

I have to agree. I like Vettel more, but this was more his fault that Kvyats. It was basically just a racing incidents, hence why nobody was penalized.

I agree Vettel left the door open too much but Kvyat dive bombed down the inside like a madman. He was never going to be able to keep his line through the corner. Someone or something had to give way.
Kvyat probably feels he needs to prove himself to make sure he gets a driving seat next year. Someone will have to make room for Verstappen...

It will be Kvyat who will be dropped, when Ricciardo isn't having a bad day he is creaming Kvyat.

I don't know your reasons to spit on Kvyat, but it still looks you stand alone in your opinion in this matter!
